Rascal's Revels for CLC Images
Bottle Launch from Sydney Harbour, Australia near Shark Island on December 31, 2016, at midnight by Lucas Cushanick. It was pretty hard to photograph the bottle as it slipped away rapidly in deceptively still, inky black water!

Vision
Rascal's Revels for CLC is one I made for my spouse. It nods to his past, living in the foothills of the Colorado Rockies, and his early adventures with fire. He likes dragons, Mexican food, Kurosawa, and reading books; has participated in improv Renaissance Faires, and has been known to sport a topknot, aka "man bun". He also laughingly refers to his terrible taste in EDM, hence the strobe lights in the background. I may have implied that a particular smile of his is "marigold-like" once or twice; and seahorses are somewhat totemic for us, representing our shared love of swimming in the ocean. He threw this bottle at midnight off a Sydney Harbour ferry, near Shark Island, to the sights and sounds of fireworks going off for New Year's Eve–an experience he has yearned to enjoy for many decades, at last culminating in this bottle throw going into 2017.
