Vision

Vision

The sixth bottle of 26 to be thrown... this time, from Venice, Italy by my dear friend of three decades, Melissa Kinski. I created some aspects of this collage with Missy in mind, as well as Venice. A compendium of jellyfish-like glass, reminiscent of the gorgeous glass chandeliers  created in Venice, go-go dancers of various eras–springing off of gelatinous glass cubes, a subtle nod to Oz-ian "Lions, and Tigers, and Bears, oh my!"(referencing a painting with Melissa made by another friend, Bryant Clifford), and illuminated manuscript figures are tied into a big, strange, Carnivale-like party: Jamboree Gelatinous. Musicality is alluded to, and the colorful flies acknowledge Melissa's profession as a documentary film maker as a veritable "fly on the wall".
